How your support will work to make a difference:
Anugrah Children Home was established in 1996 by DR ILA PAUL. Anugrah is not only a hostel for Children, but a special School for underprivileged children which includes programs for growth and development for marginalized children in slums. The vision is to give the children a better future by providing Child health and nutrition, Moral development, education and social development.
To date apart from many other initiatives, QCCT has provided Solar installation at the school and residential premises. Setting up the Computer Centre to enable children at the school to be technically trained and improve their skills, at the same time self-sustaining by teaching other children in the local villages.
QCCT is currently assisting with the expansion of school rooms to facilitate the increased number of classroom requirements. This will also assist children in the local areas and slums attend classes. The economic conditions of the people in these communities are very poor and many live in unhygienic conditions.
Anugrah’s aims:
To complete the expansion of the premises to enable more children within Anugrah and the wider community to utilize the school rooms in a clean and hygienic environment.
Encourage self-sustainability
Educate and facilitate the all-round development of underprivileged children
Skill development in information technology
Vocational training in hygiene, cooking and handicrafts.
This will result in employable, self-sustained hardworking youth.
