Practical help and care to for our rural farmers, their colleagues and the next generation.
How your support will work to make a difference:
Increase of yearly trips by Qantas employees and volunteers to assist more Aussie farmers and rural communities
Purchase building materials for repairs to properties and community buildings (an important place for rural families to get together as many are so isolated)
Paint and gardening equipment
Food cards for the farmers at their local supermarket during the volunteers’ stay
Fuel for movement around the properties QCCT work on
Australian projects is a team of skilled and dedicated Qantas employees across the network supporting our Australian rural graziers and their local communities who are doing it tough due to the crippling drought.
No one wants to admit things are tough, and farmers are some of the proudest people in Australia, but sometimes they need our help. More than ever they need it now.
Cooking, fencing, gardening, painting, maintenance and repair work are just some of the jobs QCCT volunteers do over a week and have provided help to over 40 properties and community buildings in less than 3 years.
Australian Projects is about connecting people together, providing practical help, lifting Aussies up and showing that we care.
